Ensuring Easter for Everyone 2025
This Easter, Staff Council is asking for your help to ensure food insecurity doesn't dampen the Easter holiday for any Baylor students. We will be hosting two meal-packing service opportunities (in conjunction with The Store) to construct meals for those who aren't certain where and when their next meal will be, particularly when campus takes leave for the long Easter weekend. Staff Council is seeking volunteers to help pack meal boxes in both Dallas and Waco:
April 9 - Louise Herrington School of Nursing, Dallas 11am - Noon
April 10 - Sid Richardson building lobby, Waco 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
We will meet to pack meals with kindness, thoughtfulness and food, as we work to address the often unnoticed food insecurities that plague college students across the country. We will also hear a brief word from Tre Baldwin, assistant director of SOAR, about the challenge of food insecurity among our student population.
