Libraries’ unique opportunity to triple gifts to the Keston Center for Religion, Politics & Society at Baylor University through May 11
Now through May 11, the Keston Center for Religion, Politics & Society endowment will enjoy triple benefits thanks to two generous alumni. All donations made to the Keston Center will be matched up to $10,000 by one donor and up to $100,000 by the other, allowing supporters to triple or at least double their gifts.
All funds will be placed in the Keston Endowed Excellence Fund that allows the Center to:
- Preserve, publicize, and gather archives and stories of persecuted believers and the ongoing cost of religious freedom;
- Promote innovative research into persecution, totalitarianism, and the fight for religious freedom and defense of human dignity;
- Provide a scholarly home for Baylor students, faculty, and visiting researchers from across the globe;
- Present panels, lectures, and public conversation linked to faith, politics, and society; and
- Prepare future leaders and scholars through Baylor faculty teaching fellowships and student summer internships.
“When these two donors approached me, I was overwhelmed,” explains Keston Center Director Kathy Hillman. “But they understand the importance of Keston’s mission to be a voice for voiceless persecuted believers by collecting, preserving, and sharing their stories past, present, and future.”
