Armstrong Browning Library & Museum
The Armstrong Browning Library & Museum is dedicated to the study of the lives and works of Victorian poets Robert and Elizabeth Barrett Browning and houses the world’s largest collection of Browning material and other fine collections of rare 19th-century books, manuscripts, and works of art.
The Elsevier product is designed to enhance literature reviews, strengthen topical analysis, and generate hallucination-free reports using verified peer-reviewed data and is available for faculty, student, and staff use.
During this year’s Cybersecurity Awareness Month, Baylor University marks 20 years of joining the nationwide effort to encourage vigilance in following cybersecurity best practices during October and throughout the year. As AI accelerates the rate and scale at which cybercriminals operate, Baylor ITS encourages using strong passcodes with multifactor authentication, heightening diligence around messages and phone calls, keeping current with software updates, backing up important files, restricting the exposure of personally identifiable information, and avoiding clicking links or responding to ads that are too good to be true. When followed together, these tactics create difficulties for cybercriminals and significantly enhance the security of personal and institutional information.
On Friday, September 25, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. CDT in the Hankamer Treasure Room of the Armstrong Browning Library & Museum on the campus of Baylor University and via Zoom Webinar, author, editor and Baylor alumna Kara E. Nelson will join Rev. Dr. Malcom Foley, Special Advisor to the President for Campus Engagement, in conversation over Nelson’s new book “Black at Baylor: Vital Voices of the First Generation.” A reception, including a book sale and signing, will follow the discussion in the Cox Reception Hall. This event is free and open to the public.
On Tuesday, September 8, 2026, the Office of the Provost and the Office of the President announced the Baylor faculty authors selected for the 2026-2027 Readers Meet the Author series. Professors Allison Alford, Candi Cann, Barry Harvey, Ronald Angelo Johnson and Bruce Longenecker each published single-author works in their respective fields in the past year that will be featured during conversation sessions throughout the current academic year.
