As Manager of Instructional Support, Aleithia assists faculty with Canvas course readiness and provides training resources on instructional design and digital pedagogy. She comes to Baylor University from the University of Oklahoma, where she was a Course Developer in the Office of Digital Learning. Before joining the field of instructional design, Aleithia held several internationally-focused positions, including study abroad advisor, international exchange student coordinator, and ESOL instructor. She has taught college-level courses in European history, cross-cultural communication, and academic success skills, and has presented at state and regional conferences on topics such as web accessibility and collaborative online international learning (COIL).
In her free time, Aleithia enjoys choral singing, trying new recipes, and exploring state and national parks. She lives in Oklahoma City with her husband, son, and two tabby cats.
