Amber Hansen

Amber develops and facilitates educational programs for adults and families at the Mayborn Museum. She builds partnerships across the university and the community to create engaging experiences through performances, film screenings, lectures, workshops, and other public programs.

Amber began her career in corporate marketing before transitioning to operations management. Inspired by her first visit to the Mayborn Museum, she pursued a career in museums and joined the Mayborn team in 2019. In 2022, she earned a master’s degree in museum studies from Baylor, receiving the Calvin Smith Award for her professional project, "Bioethical Exhibitions: Possible Futures of Human Remains on Display in Museums," while in the program.

Amber is passionate about education, creating programs that provide opportunities for all to learn and grow, and mentoring Baylor student employees.
