Hilary Turner started with the Baylor Libraries as our Business Liaison Librarian in August 2026. She has served as a production editor with Penguin Group USA and Pro-Ed, and as a freelance editor. She also worked at the University of Texas at Austin in the Health Professions Advising Office and School of Journalism. After completing her MBA, Turner worked with Liberty Mutual and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas and then served as product manager at Dell Technologies, Entrust, and Eagle Eye Networks. Finding that the joy of her work was connecting the right people with the right information, she turned to librarianship. During her MLIS program, she gained experience through her work with the Library of Congress, Georgetown University, and at the Hutto Public Library.
