Jake Hansel

Jake started working at Baylor in March 2026. Jake has always been passionate about creative works. He produced, edited, directed and managed an entire podcast network through Southeastern University. He also ran the radio station to include having his own radio show. He has produced, directed, edited and led teams for recorded projects, sporting events, conferences, concerts, professional gatherings and more. He loves to brainstorm creative projects. Jake has always had a passionate eye and ear for creative projects going all the way back to playing worship and working production for his church even as a young teenager. As an active-duty Air Force veteran who has both lived overseas and been deployed, he loves to use his discipline, organization and leadership skills to make creative and unique projects, often using his own unique life experience for ideas.

In his free time, Jake is an avid weightlifter who loves to compete in powerlifting and hyrox competitions, loves music and has been playing guitar for over 20 years. Jake also always makes time to attend and serve in his church and attend Bible studies.
