Laura Semrau is the Humanities Librarian at Baylor University. Previously she served as Collection Development and Public Services Librarian at New York University Abu Dhabi, where she was part of the start-up team that opened that campus' library. Her responsibilities included liaising with the English, Music, and Theater departments, as well as teaching classes to support research in those fields.
Laura also worked as a Collections Assistant at the MIT Humanities Library while working on her library degree. A unique part of that job included running the monthly bookmobile event, which highlighted some hidden gems of the collection. In addition, Laura worked as a Research and Prospect Management Analyst at the Oregon Health and Science University Foundation.
