Sam Rieta
- Exhibits Maintenance Coordinator, Mayborn Museum
Sam Rieta began as an Exhibit Services Assistant at the Mayborn Museum in July of 2022. Originally from San Diego, California, Sam came to Texas to acquire his Bachelor’s in Maritime Studies at Texas A&M at Galveston before coming to Baylor University to acquire his Master’s in Museum Studies in 2018. Prior to Baylor and the Mayborn, Sam worked as a contracted Collections Specialist for the Dr Pepper Museum and interned at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History as a Minority Awards Fellow.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending time with his three dogs, water sports, and tabletop games.
