Thomas is the Lead Processing Archivist for Baylor Libraries Special Collections as of November 2025. Previously, he served as the Special Collections Processing Archivist at the W. R. Poage Legislative Library. He has served with the Libraries since 2019.
He graduated with a Bachelor’s in History from Messiah College in 2009 and a Master’s in History from Baylor University in 2012. In 2011, he interned at The Texas Collection and found his calling as an archivist. He served as an Archival Assistant, Project Archivist, and Library Information Specialist during his time at the Texas Collection (2011-2013, 2016-2019). Most recently, Thomas was the Special Collections Processing Archivist at the Baylor Collections of Political Materials at the W. R. Poage Library (2019-2025).
Thomas met his wife Rachel when they both interned as graduate students at The Texas Collection. They have been married since 2013 and have a mischievous cat named Thorin.
