Baylor Libraries Announce New Positions
Starting in mid-June, the Baylor Libraries began posting a series of positions that will help enhance the Libraries' support of the Baylor community, create a more diverse team, and bring fresh perspectives to the organization. Over the course of the next 12-18 months, the Libraries have been approved to recruit and hire 14 new full-time academic professionals and staff. The following positions were most recently announced:
- Metadata Librarian (open through July 29)
- Digital Humanities Librarian (open through August 9)
- Director of The Texas Collection & University Archives (open through August 23)
- Library Information Coordinator (LIS IV)
- Makerspace Manager
- Learning Experience Designer
- Interactive Learning Experience Developer
As each position is posted, it will be added to this list and shared at @baylorlibraries on Facebook and Twitter. This season of hiring marks an exciting time in the life of the Baylor Libraries and will certainly be transformative for both the Libraries and the university.
