Experience

Amy James serves as the Online Librarian for Education and Information Literacy at Baylor University. In this capacity, she acts as the primary faculty liaison to the School of Education, partnering closely with education students and faculty to provide targeted, high-level research consultations. A core focus of her role is advancing information literacy instruction; she develops curriculum, creates learning objects (i.e. tutorials, videos, and interactive modules) and leads instruction sessions.

Beyond instructional outreach, she actively supports the scholarly communication and research lifecycle. She provides specialized guidance in qualitative data analysis and citation management, utilizing tools such as Zotero and NVivo to streamline faculty and student research workflows. As a social sciences systematic review specialist, she frequently collaborates as a co-author on vidence synthesis projects, guiding education faculty and graduate students through scoping and systematic reviews.
