Elizabeth Rivera began serving as Baylor's University Archivist in January 2023. A Nashville native, Rivera attended Lipscomb University and graduated in 2006. After several years of serving in children’s ministry, teaching fifth graders in Guatemala, working with children as a behavioral therapist, and managing projects for HopeWorks, she discovered her passion for collecting, remembering, sharing, and helping others to tell people’s stories. In 2014, Rivera completed her MLIS degree and served with the Beaman Archives and Special Collections at Lipscomb University for eight years before coming to Baylor.
