Joanna Lamb
Assistant Librarian and Curator, Armstrong Browning Library & Museum
Joanna Lamb became Curator of the Armstrong Browning Library & Museum in March 2024, bringing with her significant experience in records management, special collections and archives, and school librarianship.
Experience: Before joining the Armstrong Browning Library & Museum, she held positions as Information Government Analyst and Records and Information Management Analyst with SM Energy in Denver, Colorado; University Records Manager at the University of Denver; and Adjust Professor of records management, also at the University of Denver. Previously she served as Archival Collections Assistant for the Special Collections and Archives at the University of California, Irvine, and as librarian for K-12 students in Calabasas, California.
Education: Joanna earned her BA in Public Affairs and Corporate Communications and her BA in English with a minor in Art History from Southern Methodist University. She earned her MLIS with concentrations in Archives and Records Management and School Library Media from the University of Denver.
