Landa Jacobo joined The Texas Collection of Baylor's Carroll Library in September 2023. After a graduate teaching assistantship with the University of Texas of the Permian Basin in 2004, an administrative assistant position in the Continuing Education department of UTPB in 2006, and a short stint as an office supplies sales representative, she taught students ranging from elementary to collegiate level for 16 years in public and private education.
She enjoys literature, traveling, and spending time with her husband (Ruben), children (Justin, Elora, and Ruben III), and four fur babies: dogs (Pakkun and Akamaru), and cats (Pumpkin and S'more).
