A new fashion exhibit is on display in the Baylor Libraries through Dec. 10, 2021. The exhibit, located in the Schumacher Flex Commons on the first floor of Moody Memorial Library, features over 25 unique designs created by distinguished Baylor faculty members.

Presented by students in Baylor's Apparel Merchandising program, the "Rooted in Fashion: Fashion through the Eyes of Faculty" exhibit showcases the outstanding work of seven Baylor apparel merchandising professors.

The grand opening of the exhibit was held on the evening of Nov. 15. Guests were able to visit with the professors who created these pieces as well as the apparel merchandising students who organized the exhibit.

This exhibit features a range of various garments, gowns and interior design items. Each piece represents the talent and artistic vision of these Baylor professors. Some pieces incorporate timeless qualities of classic fashion, while others illustrate a more contemporary style that is seen in modern-day fashion trends.

The exhibit is free and open to the public when Moody Memorial Library is open. For more information, please contact Erik Swanson, Exhibits Curator and Coordinator.
