Shannon became a Learning Experience Designer at Baylor University in November 2025. She collaborates with an innovative and supportive team dedicated to creating engaging, learner-centered experiences. Drawing on her background in instructional design, educational technology, and faculty development, Shannon enjoys helping instructors transform their ideas into meaningful courses that align with Baylor’s mission and values. She has worked extensively in higher education and professional training, developing everything from project management and human resources courses to faculty resources and online learning pathways. Her work focuses on building intentional, accessible, and visually engaging learning environments that promote clarity, interaction, and lasting impact. She has also worked in K-12 education at the high school level. Before joining Baylor, Shannon led design projects that integrated learning management systems, streamlined digital course templates, and created branded learning materials to enhance the student experience. She finds great joy in supporting instructors and seeing their confidence grow as their course designs come to life. Shannon is especially inspired by Baylor’s commitment to excellence and community. She values being part of a team that blends creativity, innovation, and faith to make education more purposeful and transformative. As she continues to grow in her role, she looks forward to designing experiences that empower both faculty and students to connect, reflect, and thrive in their learning journeys.
