The second installment of the Readers Meet the Author Series will feature Joao Chaves, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of the History of Religion in the Americas, and his recently published "Migrational Religion: Context and Creativity in the Latinx Diaspora" (Baylor Press, 2021). Dr. Felipe Hinojosa, the John and Nancy Jackson Endowed Chair in Latin America and Professor of History, will interview Chaves. This session will be available both in-person and via Zoom Webinar. Light refreshments and a book signing will follow the presentation.
